Jazz Classes

Our jazz program incorporates contemporary jazz styles that change and evolve with new trends in an upbeat learning environment that encourages students to express themselves and build confidence and self-esteem both in and out of the studio.

Ballet Classes

The Classical Ballet Program at the Ridgefield School of Dance instruction is based primarily on the Balanchine-style of technique. Classes are tailored for the students to naturally progress though each level appropriate to their age and ability.

Adult Classes

All of our adult classes welcome those who are trying dance for the first time, those who are returning to dance, and those who are keeping active in their chosen technique.  So, you think you can't dance?  We prove that you can.

“The Ridgefield School of Dance is more than a dance studio. My girls consider it a second home. It’s a safe place to have fun with friends and work on something they love.

Alison is the caring shepherd keeping students and parents moving in the right direction. Jess is a focused hand who doesn’t allow the girls to be satisfied with “good enough.” Ms. Irene is a magician getting the youngest of dancers to focus, learn, and enjoy dance. The other instructors set a fine example of what is expected of high level performers.

We have since moved and certainly count The Ridgefield School of Dance as one of the things we miss most after leaving. I can tell you from personal experience; finding a studio with this special character is very difficult.”
